Christmas 2007 brought many blessings to our family. 2007 was a tough year for our family, but as Christmas approached, we slowed down, savored the moments and felt the true spirit of Christmas. Here are the highlights of our simple, happy moments...
The night we decorate the tree feels like the beginning of Christmas. Our kids pick out a new ornament every year. Our tree is definitely an eclectic mix of ornaments.
Our Christmas Enrichment party was amazing! It was early in the month and was the perfect way to begin the holiday festivities!
What's Christmas without baking lots of goodies. Our big project this year was homemade marshmallows dipped in homemade fudge. Vienna loved licking the batter!

Dillon performed at SCHS in the Dance Concert. He did a crazy flip on the stage. It was awesome!
Dillon and Tanner, with their good friend, Blake, performed with the OCMCO. I got all teary seeing my boys walk on stage at Segerstom Hall, looking so handsome in their tuxes. Makes a mom proud!
Vienna is in kindergarten this year and her class performed a darling Christmas play. Vienna had to memorize her part. She did great!
The primary kids at church sang Christmas carols at a retirement home. Fa la la la la, la la la la....
Jack mastered "Deck the Halls" on the violin this year. That's Grandpa in the background. We spend Christmas eve with the McBrides and always have the kids put on a talent show. We have officially been friends with the McBrides for 20 years!
Vienna asked Santa for a bike, and boy did he deliver!
We feel so blessed and look forward to the new year! Happy 2008!
